Method
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil for easy cleanup.
- Prepare the Wings: Place the chicken wings on a large bowl and drizzle with olive oil. Toss to coat evenly. Then, sprinkle in garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until all wings are evenly seasoned.
- Arrange the Wings: Spread the seasoned wings out in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Make sure there’s a little space between each wing so they can cook evenly.
- Bake the Wings: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake the wings for 25–30 minutes. Flip the wings halfway through cooking (about 15 minutes) to ensure they’re evenly golden and crispy on both sides.
- Prepare the Garlic Parmesan Sauce: While the wings are baking, melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1–2 minutes until fragrant. Remove from heat and stir in the grated parmesan cheese. If you’re using lemon juice, add it now and mix well.
- Coat the Wings: Once the wings are done baking, remove them from the oven and place them in a large mixing bowl. Pour the garlic parmesan sauce over the wings and toss them to coat thoroughly.
- Garnish & Serve: Sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley for a pop of colour and added flavour. Serve immediately with your favourite dipping sauce or a side of veggies.
Notes
For extra crispiness, consider using a wire rack on top of your baking sheet while baking the wings. This allows hot air to circulate around the wings, making them even crispier. If you prefer an even richer garlic flavour, feel free to increase the garlic amount in the sauce.
